Below standard LJS - Long John Silver
This store looked like a febal attempt of a facelift. The inside was very sloppily painted with the winows that had paint on them and looked like they had not been cleaned inside or out for along time. The Men's room was filthy and smelly with the urinal inop. Outside looked like the shrubs and grass had not been toched and was overgrown.
The food was not much better. The grease was old and should have been replaced days before. Both the chicken and fish were over cooked and had dark spots from the dirty grease. The condiments were store bought, two Hine's ketchup bottles and the tarter sauce was in a squeeze bottle, needless to say that was spoiled. The serving counter had a big hole in it with cardboard over it (somewhat).
I had been a Manager of a deli for many years in Virginia and know the health regulations. This restraint would not have passed any kind of state inspection. The entire operation felt like they were on a limited cost saving budget. Even the prices seemed high for a LJS. We will not go back to this place again.
